Coach Switzer Announces 2024 Outdoor Schedule

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- Bryant's director of cross country/track and field Mitchell Switzer has announced the team's schedule for the 2024 outdoor season. The Bulldogs will compete in ten regular season meets, headlined by the Black and Gold Invitational on March 29 and 30th.

Bryant will open spring competition next week as they head south to compete in the Buccaneer Invitational at Charleston Southern on March 15th. The Bulldogs then return to Smithfield to compete in the Black and Gold Invitational two weeks later on Friday March 29th and Saturday the 30th at the Track and Turf Complex.

The Bulldogs will be back on the road the following week when they compete in the UMass Amherst Invitational from April 5th and 6th. Bryant will then enter into a packed two week stretch that will have them participating in four separate meets over five days. The team will first travel back to Amherst to compete in the UMass Multi Meet from April 10th-11th. The Black and Gold will then compete in the Friar Invitational at Providence College on April 12th and the Merrimack Alumni Classic on April 13th. Bryant will then travel to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to take part in the Bucknell Outdoor Classic from April 13-14th.

The Bulldogs will then head back north to participate in the George Davis Invitational at UMass Lowell from April 19-20th. Bryant will return to the Keystone State to take part in the Penn Relays which will begin on April 25th and end the 27th. The Black and Gold will conclude their regular season on April 27th with the Pre-Conference Invitational at the University of New Hampshire.

The America East Championships will take place May 4-5th at UMBC, followed by the NEICAAA New England Championships on the 13th and 14th at Holy Cross. The NCAA First Round will be held May 21-25 at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
