FULL GAME NOTES

ON TAP AT PATRICK GYMNASIUM
The Bryant University women's basketball team will continue its 2014-15 regular season schedule on Tuesday, Nov. 18 when it heads to Burlington, Vt. for a showdown with the Vermont University Catamounts. Tip is set for 7 p.m.

THE SERIES
Tuesday marks just the second meeting between the two schools since Bryant joined the Division I ranks during the 2008-09 season. In last year's season opener, point guard Jenniqua Bailey put up 16 points amidst battling foul trouble to help the Bulldogs past the Catamounts, 82-71, at the Chace Athletic Center. Christina White and Niki Taylor paced UVM, putting up a combined 35 points off the bench.

SCOUTING THE CATAMOUNTS
Vermont enters Tuesday's contest with a 0-1 overall record after falling to Brown, 81-76, Saturday afternoon in Burlington. Sophomore guard Kylie Butler and senior forward Niki Taylor led the Cats with 13 points apiece, while junior Kylie Atwood chipped in 11 points in just 19 minutes.

Selected to finish tied for 7th in the America East Preseason Poll, UVM returns nine letterwinners and three starters from a team that earned the No. 6 seed in the America East Tournament last season. They finished the 2013-14 season with a 7-23 overall record, going 4-12 against AE opponents.

UVM returns six of its top leading scorers from a year ago including senior Kayla Burchill (12.1 ppg, 3.8 rpg), Taylor (10.3 ppg, 6.0 rpg), and White (9.2 ppg, 51 3's made).

OH, THE IVORY
Freshman swing player Ivory Bailey wasted little time adjusting to the collegiate game as she exploded for a game-high 24 points and seven rebounds in her first game as a Bulldog Friday night vs. Maine. The 24 points marks the most by a Bryant freshman in Division I program history and helped earn Bailey her first Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honor.

DOUBLE DIP
Sophomore center Morgan Olander put together arguably her best game as a Bulldog in Friday's 65-52 victory over Maine, putting up 12 points and a career-high 10 rebounds for the sophomore's first-career double double. Olander also added a pair of blocks, a steal and a rebound in 32 minutes of play.

THREE'S COMPANY
Freshman Ivory Bailey, junior Tiersa Winder, and sophomore Morgan Olander combined for 53 of Bryant's 65 points in the season-opening victory over Maine on Friday. The trio combined to make 18 of the Bulldogs' 21 made shots, shooting .450 from the field and 5-of-12 from deep.

BIG IMPACT OFF THE BENCH
Senior forward Leigha Tacey put together a strong effort off the bench in Friday's win vs. Maine scoring four points, grabbing five rebounds and dishing out an assists in 21 minutes of play (all career highs).

ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Bryant will hit the road for the first time this season on Tuesday when it travels to Vermont. The Bulldogs posted an 8-9 record away from the Chace Athletic Center last season and played seven of its first 11 games on the road. Bryant opens a stretch beginning on Tuesday where eight of its next 12 contests are away from Smithfield.
