FULL GAME NOTES

ON TAP AT CONTE FORUM
The Bryant University women's basketball team will put its perfect 3-0 record on the line when it heads to Chestnut Hill, Mass., for its toughest test yet; a showdown with ACC-foe Boston College, Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.

THE SERIES
Boston College holds a 1-0 all-time series lead over the Bulldogs entering Sunday's showdown thanks to a 68-42 victory on Nov. 27, 2011 at Contre Forum. Jenniqua Bailey put up eight points and a pair of assists in 16 minutes in the loss.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Selected to finish 15th (of 15) in the ACC Coaches Preseason Poll, the Eagles are off to a promising starting, entering Sunday's game with a  2-1 overall record coming off a 73-56 victory over Boston University on Thursday. BC's other victory came over St. Mary's on Nov. 16 with its lone loss of the season coming at the hands of No. 6 Stanford (who recently knocked off No. 1 UConn), 96-63, on Nov. 14.

Led by sophomore guard Kelly Hughes' 14.7 points per game, seven rebounds per game, and five assists per game, the Eagles boast a balanced attack which features six players averaging at least 8 ppg. Junior guard Nicole Boudreau and junior wing Kat Cooper rank second and third on the team in scoring, putting up 11.7 ppg and 10 ppg, respectively.

LAST TIME OUT
Behind a truly balanced effort, the Bryant University women's basketball team held off Canisius, 71-68, Friday night at the Chace Athletic Center.

A Taiahana Mills steal set up an Emily Weber lay in with 14 seconds left on the clock to cut the Bulldog (3-0) lead to three, 69-66. The Golden Griffins (0-2) got possession back just seconds later after Bryant was unable to inbound the ball, sending Mills to the line where she made 1-of-2 to cut the lead to just a bucket but visitors were unable to get any closer as the Black and Gold hung on for their third-straight victory, 71-68.

Junior guard Tiersa Winder paced Bryant with 16 points, four rebounds and four assists, while senior point guard Jenniqua Bailey put up 15 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the free through line to go along with five assists and five rebounds.

Junior Breanna Rucker put up her second-straight double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while sophomore center Morgan Olander tied her career high with 13 points to go along with nine boards in arguably her best game as a Bulldog. Sophomore Alex Klein put together a tremendous hustle game, grabbing eight boards in 15 minutes off the bench.

All five Canisius starters scored double digits led by Mills' 16 and Weber's 14. Kayla Hoohili finished with 12 points and a team-high nine boards, while Crystal Porter and Jasmine Mungo added 12 and 10, respectively.

3-0 AND IT FEELS SO GOOD
The Bryant women's basketball program is off to its first 3-0 start since the 2006-07 season and the first since joining the Division I ranks in 2008. Only three teams in Bryant women's hoops history have hit the 4-0 mark as the 2014-15 Bulldogs look to become the fourth Sunday vs. Boston College.

JENNIQUA BOUNCES BACK
After a tough shooting night in Bryant's season opener vs. Maine, senior point guard Jenniqua Bailey bounced back in her next two games putting up 27 points in Tuesday's 72-55 win at Vermont and 15 points, five boards and five assists in Friday's victory over Canisius. Over the course of her last two games, Bailey has gone 24-33 from the free throw line, including 15-for-20 against Vermont, the most by a Bulldog since the 2000-01 season.

RUCKIN' 'N ROLLIN'
Junior forward Breanna Rucker registered her second-straight, and 12th career, double double in Friday's victory over Canisius, scoring 12 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Rucker is now averaging 10 points and 8.7 rebounds in three games this season.

MORE MORGAN
Sophomore center Morgan Olander has put together her best stretch as a Bulldog, averaging 12.3 points, nine rebounds and 1.6 blocks through the first three games of this season. After putting up a double double in the season opener vs. Maine, Olander followed her performance up with 12 points, eight board and three blocks vs. Vermont on Tuesday, and most recently tied a career-best 13 points and nine rebounds vs. Canisius on Friday.

TOMMY POINTS
In Friday's victory over Canisius, sophomore forward Alex Klein grabbed a career-high eight rebounds, including five on the offensive glass, in 15 minutes of play. Through three games this season, Klein is averaging 3.0 ppg and 3.3 rpg in 10 minutes per contest.

WINDEX
Always among the top rebounding teams in the league, Bryant once against sits near the top in almost every rebounding category in the Northeast Conference rankings. Outrebounding opponents by an average margin of 8.7 rpg (second in NEC), the Bulldogs have outrebounded the opposition in all three games this season, averaging nearly 43 rpg.

STEEL CURTAIN
Through three games this season, the Bulldogs are allowing just 58.3 points per game, tops among Northeast Conference opponents. Bryant is holding the opposition to just 38 percent shooting from the field and a measly 18 percent from behind the 3-point line, both second best in the NEC.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN
On Tuesday, Nov. 18 at Vermont, the Bryant opened a stretch with eight of its first 12 games are on the road. Last season, the Bulldogs went 8-9 away from the Chace Athletic Center.
