The Bryant University women's basketball team will look to remain atop the Northeast Conference standings when they welcome LIU Brooklyn to Smithfield on Monday for a 3 p.m. tilt.

THE SERIES
The Bulldogs hold a 6-3 lead in the all-time series with LIU Brooklyn dating back to the 2009-10 season. Bryant has won each of the last four matchups including a 79-66 victory earlier this season in the Northeast Conference opener behind 19 points apiece from Breanna Rucker and Tiersa Winder.

SCOUTING THE BLACKBIRDS
LIU Brooklyn enters Monday night's game with a 6-12 overall record, 3-4 in the Northeast Conference. Most recently, the Blackbirds took down Fairleigh Dickinson, 79-75, on Saturday behind 19 points from Sophie Bhasin.

Bhasin leads LIU Brooklyn with nearly 17 points per game to go along nearly five boards per contest in less than 27 minutes a game. Letava Whippy paces the team on the glass with eight boards per game and 8.0 ppg, while Shanice Vaughn dishes out a team high 3.3 assists per game.

LIU uses a 10 player rotation with each averaging at least 10 minutes per contest. They average nearly 12 steals per game as a team but turn the ball over more than 22 times per 40 minutes.
