Bulldogs make first ESPN3 appearance of the season against Mount on Monday at 7 p.m.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's basketball team makes its first appearance of the season on ESPN3 when they travel to take on Mount St. Mary's on Monday at 7 p.m.

GAME NOTES

THE SERIES
This contest marks the 16th meeting between the Bulldogs and Mount with the series in Bryant's favor, 8-7, while the Mount leads in Emmitsburg, 4-3.

SCOUTING THE MOUNT
The Mount enters Monday's TV game on a two-game winning streak, most recently defeating Sacred Heart and Central Connecticut. The Mount averages 5.7 less rebounds than their opponents, as they sit last in the league in rebounding offense at 34.1 per game.

The Mount is led offensively by Caroline Hummell off 10.5 points per game off 41.6 percent shooting from the floor and 82.7 percent mark from the line. The junior center is the Mount's only player to average double figures, but three of the four other starters average over eight points per game, including Alexis Carter, Mikal Johnson and Katrice Dickinson.

LAST VS. MOUNT
The Bulldogs put on a showing in their latest match against the Mount, winning, 78-62. For the first time this season, five Bulldogs finished with double-digits points, including four from the Bryant starting lineup. Sophomore Haley Connors and senior Morgan Olander paved the way with 15 points, as Connors hit a career-high five threes.

HOLL-YWOOD
Freshman Sydney Holloway has scored double-digit points in eight games this season. Holloway notched her second double-double of the season off a career-high 21 points and 16 rebounds at Sacred Heart. The forward is only the fourth freshman since the 2010-11 season to earn a double-double in her first season in Smithfield. In the contest, Holloway went career-high 10-for-12 from the line, as she leads Bryant with 84.8 percent shooting from the stripe. The rookie's double-double performance at Pitt marked the eighth time in Division I history that a double-double has been recorded in an up-game, making her one-of-six players to do so.

O'CANADA
Senior Alex Klein recorded her fifth double-double of the season at Sacred Heart off 12 points and 10 rebounds. The Ontario native has recorded 20+ points in six games, as well as leading Bryant 12 times in scoring and 10 times in rebounding. The 20+ point games include Vermont, Holy Cross, Pitt, UMass Lowell, Wagner and Saint Francis U. Klein averages a team-high 16.0 points per game.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION
Bryant's game at Mount St. Mary's will mark the ninth time the Black and Gold have appeared on ESPN3 in Division I, posting a 3-5 record on the broadcast. Robert Morris has handed the Bulldogs four of their five national broadcast defeats, including NEC Semifinal losses on March 9, 2016 (72-59), March 12, 2014 (72-67) and March 11, 2015 (68-62). Two of Bryant's three national broadcast victories occurred in the 2015-16 season, as they defeated Robert Morris, 71-65, on Jan. 23 and Central Connecticut, 65-53, on Feb. 1. The Bulldogs first-ever ESPN3 win came at Fairleigh Dickinson on Feb. 16, 2015, when the Bulldogs took it, 63-61.

REBOUNDING MARGIN
The Bulldogs average the NEC's highest rebounding margin at +5.4 per game, placing them 48th nationally. In the team's best performance, Bryant out-rebounded Brown by 23, marking their highest rebounding differential since the 2014 season.
