Burke adds Kelner to class of 2021

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Head women's basketball coach Mary Burke and her staff add Julia Kelner to the incoming class of 2021.

A three-time varsity forward at Jamesville DeWitt … Also lettered in lacrosse … Helped lead her team to repeat titles in the OHSL Freedom National League, Section 3, Regional and State Championship as a senior and junior … In the same seasons, her team finished as Federation Runner Ups … As a senior, Kelner was awarded All-CNY First Team, OHSL Freedom National League Player of the Year, a Rose Classic All-Star, as well as making the Section 3 and state tournament teams … A member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish Honor Society and a high honor roll student.

Personal: Daughter of Richard and Kathy Kelner, Julia was born on May 5, 1999. She has one brother Brian.
