SCOUTING THE GOLDEN GOPHERS

The Golden Gophers are 4-1 overall dropping their only game in their season opener, 77-69, to Missouri State. Tuesday's game will be the last home contest for Minnesota, having not played on the road yet this season, as they are set to compete in the 2019 Big Ten/ACC Women's Basketball Challenge at Notre Dame, American, and George Washington.

Destiny Pitts leads the Gophers in scoring averaging 17 points per game. Pitts recently dropped 26 points against Montana State off 7-of-19 shooting.

LAST TIME OUT: ILLINOIS
The Bulldogs recently dropped a hard-fought battle at Illinois, 69-55. Senior Masey Zegarowski (Hamilton, Mass.) netted a season-high 12 points trailed by Alana Perkins (Wauwatosa, Wis.) with 10 points. Bryant was outrebounded for the second game in a row, 38-33, and broke its four-game streak of posting three double-digit scorers.

Bryant is currently on a four-game losing streak since its season opener at Brown.

ON THE RISE
Sydney Holloway (Morgantown, W.Va.)
continues to climb the Division I scoring ranks at Bryant jumping seven spots last season. Holloway is just 11 points away from tying the Division I scoring record at Bryant as she reached the 1,000 point milestone on Dec. 30, 2019, against Holy Cross, becoming the fastest player in Bryant women's basketball Division I history to do so.

ZEGA-WHO?
Zegarowski led the Bulldogs at Illinois with he second double-digit scoring performance of the year. The senior guard tallied a season-high 12 points off five-of-11 shooting in 35 minutes of play.
