Bryant falls to Seton Hall on Sunday

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Bryant University women's basketball team fell to Seton Hall 73-45 on the road.

Mia Mancini led the team with 12 points, her second straight double-figure scoring game, and Breya Busby scored her first career points (9) as a Bulldog.

How it Happened

  • It was a defensive battle to begin the quarter, with the Pirates earning a slight 6-4 edge. Scott hit two free throws, and Mancini nailed a mid-range jumper.
  • The defense continued as the Bulldogs outscored the Pirates 8-7 to finish the quarter, led by Mancini, who recorded seven points, including a corner triple, making the score 13-12 in favor of the home team.
  • The Offense picked up in the second quarter, with the Pirates outscoring the Black and Gold 11-6. Fortuny scored all six for Bryant (24-18).
  • The first half finished with a 5-3 run for Seton Hall; Fortuny nailed a three for the Bulldogs (29-21).
