Unson earns all-tournament honors at Garden State Classic
NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- The Bryant University women's bowling team competed at the Garden State Classic on Saturday and Sunday.
Bryant went 1-4 on Saturday in baker play, but posted a 3-2 mark on Sunday in traditional play.
Saturday - Baker
- Bryant finished the first day of the classic with a 1-4 overall record. The Bulldogs suffered losses to Monmouth, Merrimack, Bloomfield and Molloy.
- The Black and Gold picked up a win over St. Francis Brooklyn.
- The Bulldogs posted a high game of 216 in the third match of their victory over the Terriers.
Sunday - Traditional
- Bryant closed out the weekend a 3-2 record on Sunday. The Black and Gold opened with back-to-back wins and finished the day with victories over William Smith College (2) and Howard.
- Abigail Unson shined on Sunday, bowling a 203 and a 207. She was named to the all-tournament team, finishing third overall on the day. Unson finished fourth overall in total pinfall.

- Unson picked up all-tournament honors on Sunday with a third-place finish. She was fourth in total pinfall.
- Bryant is now 25-39 on the season.
