Bio

HEALY ON BOLTON: Since transferring in her sophomore year, Jessica is the only Bulldog with DI, DII and DIII experience. We intend to rely on this experience and her calm demeanor to anchor our defense.

In the record books: Bolton leaves Bryant among the top tier of goalies in Bulldog women's lacrosse history and has a place at the top of a number of records to prove it... SINGLE-GAME: tied for first for most saves (20 vs. Central Connecticut, April 1, 2009); tied for third for most saves (17 vs. Louisville, Feb. 20, 2009)... SINGLE-SEASON: tied for first all-time in saves (178, 2008); fourth in saves per game (9.89, 2008); fifth in wins (10, 2008); seventh in goals against average (14.29, 2008); eighth in save percentage (.445, 2009); ninth in saves (97, 2009), saves per game (6.93, 2009), save percentage (.411, 2008) and goals against average (15.11, 2009); tenth in save percentage (.400, 2010)... CAREER: second all-time in saves (295) and wins (13); third in save percentage (.421) and saves per game (7.76); fourth in goals against average (14.51).

2010: Started two games as a senior captain, appearing in six between the pipes for the Bulldogs... Posted a 14.05 goals against average in limited action with 20 saves and a 1-0 record... Earned the win in a 16-11 win over Saint Francis (PA) in the season finale... Faced 65 shots and picked up seven ground balls on the year... Caused a turnover against Presbyterian and vs. Saint Francis (PA)... Season-best five ground balls against the Red Flash, where she also recorded a season-high 12 saves.

2009: Set a school record with 20 saves in a 12-8 win over Central Connecticut on April 1... Saw action in 14 games, earning eight starts in goal where she posted a 2-6 record... Finished the year with a 15.11 GAA and a .445 save percentage... Made 11 saves against Sacred Heart and had 17 stops in the season-opener against Louisville.

2008: Started all 18 games in net, recording 178 saves and averaging 14 stops per game.

Before Bryant: A 2006 graduate of Scarborough High School, Bolton joined the Bulldogs as a sophomore after spending her rookie year at Guilford College... Lettered in field hockey, ice hockey and lacrosse at Scarborough... 2005 Academic All-American... Southern Maine Activities Association All-Star... All-state selection... Captain as a senior.

Personal: Born May 11, 1988... Daughter of William and Nancy Bolton... Has one sister, Annie, and one brother, Eddie... Double majors in marketing and management in the College of Business.
