HEALY ON SHERIDAN: A veteran attacker as a sophomore, Lauren's quick feet and dynamite shot will be key to our success this season. Look for her to dictate the attack and emerge as a leader on the field.

In the record books: With two years still to play donning the Black and Gold, Sheridan has already made her mark on the program and will continue to do so as the team continues to compete at the highest level... SINGLE-GAME RECORDS: tied for third in free-position goals (2, five times in 2010; once in 2009)... SINGLE-SEASON RECORDS: first in free-position goals (16, 2010); fourth in shots (96, 2010) and shots per game (6.00, 2010); tied for fourth in free-position goals (9, 2009); eighth in shots on goal (66, 2010)... CAREER RECORDS: second in free-position goals (25); sixth in goals per game (1.75) and shots per game (4.34); ninth in points per game (2.22); tenth in goals (56), shots (139) and shots on goal (100).

2010: Had a career year, appearing in all 16 games and starting all but one of them... Led the team in every offensive category, including points (48), goals (38), assists (10), free-position goals (16), shots (96) and shots on goal (66)... Set the single-season record for free-position goals, connecting on 16-of-32 on the year... Recorded a goal in all but one contest... Had 17-game scoring streak dating back to 2009 snapped in season finale... Boasted 12 multi-goal outings and seven hat tricks... Collected a career-high six points on two occasions (vs. LIU, at Monmouth)... Registered an assist in eight contests... Picked up 26 ground balls with 10 draw controls and five caused turnovers.

2009: Enjoyed an outstanding freshman season at Bryant... Finished fourth on the team in scoring with 18 goals and five assists for 23 points... Scored a season-best four goals against Siena... Also added one assist against the Saints for five points on the game... Had three goals and one assist against Villanova in the season finale and recorded a three-goal game against Long Island... Scored twice against Columbia... Registered 13 ground balls on the year... Forced two caused turnovers against Monmouth.

Before Bryant: A 2008 graduate of Bethpage High School... Three-sport athlete who lettered in lacrosse, soccer and cheerleading... Captained her lacrosse and soccer teams... Won Team MVP award in both lacrosse and soccer... Named an all-county and all-conference selection in both lacrosse and soccer... Two-time conference champion in lacrosse... Lacrosse scholar-athlete... National Honor Society member.

Personal: Born June 13, 1990... Daughter of Stephen and Joann Sheridan... Has two sisters, Colleen and Teri-Ann... Cousin, Mark, played four years of college football at the University at Albany.... Plans to study marketing in the College of Business.
