WOMEN'S LACROSSE LOOKS TO GET BACK IN WIN COLUMN TUESDAY AT IONA

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University women's lacrosse team will look to snap a three-game losing skid this Tuesday afternoon when the Bulldogs travel to New Rochelle, NY to face the Gaels of Iona College at 3 pm.

Bryant (3-9) is coming off a 19-11 loss to Columbia Saturday afternoon despite a four-goal effort from Delia Glover (Marston Mills, MA).  Glover heads into Tuesday's game with a team-high 33 goals and seven assists on the season.  She is currently ranked fourth all-time in school history with 140 career goals and needs nine to move past former standout Lauren Carlisle (148) for third all-time. 

With 172 career points, Glover stands tied for fourth all-time.  Allison Faiola (Billerica, MA) is second on the team this season with 22 goals and 13 points while freshman standout Mary Green (Merrick, NY) is having an outstanding rookie season with 18 goals, 6 assists.  Classmate Lauren Sheridan (Bethpage, NY) and senior Lauren Albert (South Windsor, CT) each have 11 goals.

Iona (3-10) snapped a four-game losing skid with a 13-7 win over Niagara on April 5.  The Gaels, 1-3 at home this season, are led by Christie Godlewski's 27 goals and 15 assists while Elizabeth Coholan is next with 31g, 7a.

Bryant will travel to Boston College Friday for a 4:30 pm game.
