THE SERIES
Saturday's contest is the second all-time meeting between Bryant and Niagara and the return of a game in Western New York last season. The Bulldogs won last season's matchup 18-8 during a snowy Spring Break trip.

Jess DeMeo (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) tied the program single-game record for goals with eight in last year's game against the Purple Eagles, while Meredith James (Essex Fells, N.J.) broke the Bulldogs' single-game record for draw controls with 13.

SCOUTING THE PURPLE EAGLES
Niagara is 3-2 on the year after a 17-10 loss to Yale Thursday. The Purple Eagles opened the season with wins over St. Bonaventure, Binghamton and Central Connecticut before falling to Ohio State and Yale. Niagara was picked fifth out of nine teams in the MAAC preseason poll.

Rachel MacCheyne leads the Purple Eagles with 22 goals, 23 points and 48 draw controls. MacCheyne ranks second in the nation with 9.6 draw controls per game and collected 11 against the nation's leader, Yale's Izzy Nixon, Thursday in New Haven.

WIN THE DRAW, RULE THE WORLD
Senior Lauren Britton (Monmouth Beach, N.J.) ranks ninth nationally with 7.33 draw controls per game and has collected 19 over her last two contests. Britton's 10 draws at Albany were a career-high and the second-most by a Bulldog in the program's Division I era.

NEW NUMBER, SAME LB
Senior Lauren Britton was forced to make a mid-game uniform switch in Wednesday's contest against Brown due to blood on her regular No. 25 jersey. After making the change to the No. 31 uniform, Britton scored the go-ahead goal with 13:58 to play, giving the Bulldogs a lead they would not relinquish.

DeMEO RISING IN RECORD BOOKS
Senior Jess DeMeo has her sights set on a pair of program scoring records. DeMeo needs 21 goals to break Bryant's all-time goals mark of 177 set by Lauren Descalzo and 17 points to pass Descalzo's D1 points record of 196.

UP NEXT: JACKSONVILLE
Bryant begins a Spring Break trip to Florida when the Bulldogs face perennial Atlantic Sun contender Jacksonville Thursday.
