SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
UConn is 1-8 on the year with the lone victory coming via a 10-9 win over Albany March 13. The Huskies' non-conference slate has included defending national champion James Madison, Syracuse, and perennial New England contenders UMass and Fairfield.

Sydney Watson is the Huskies' leader in goals (22), points (30) and draw controls (51) while tied for the team lead in assists (8). UConn has been held to 10 goals or less in six of nine contests this season.

THE SERIES
The Bulldogs and Huskies are meeting for the first time in program history Tuesday. The game is Bryant's first against a member of the American Athletic Conference, which began sponsoring women's lacrosse this season.

LAST TIME OUT: BRYANT 18, CANISIUS 13
Senior Jess DeMeo (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) scored six goals and junior Caitlin Breglia (Long Beach, N.Y.) collected seven points as Bryant put together back-to-back wins with a victory over Canisius Wednesday at Beirne Stadium. Eight Bulldogs scored in the win with multi-goal efforts from DeMeo, Breglia, senior Lauren Britton (Monmouth Beach, N.J.), sophomore Devon Bolen (Queensbury, N.Y.) and freshman Alexa Weber (South Windsor, Conn.)

DEMEO'S BIG DAY EARNS NEC HONOR
Senior Jess DeMeo scored six goals and collected a career-high five ground balls in the win over Canisius, earning NEC Co-Player of the Week recognition. DeMeo matched Lauren Descalzo's Division I program careerpoints record of 195 in the victory.

0 TO 100
Junior Caitlin Breglia recorded her 100th career goal in Wednesday's win over Canisius, becoming the eighth Bulldog in the program's Division I era to reach the century mark. Breglia is the third D1 Bryant player to score her 100th career goal as a junior, joining Lauren Descalzo and Jess DeMeo

WIN THE DRAW, RULE THE WORLD
Senior Lauren Britton has recorded four of the top five single-game draw control performances in Bryant's Division I era over the Bulldogs' last five contests. Britton ranks eighth nationally with 7.43 draw controls per game, while the Bulldogs are ninth as a team with 15.86.

Bryant's 21 draw controls Wednesday matched the program's D1 single-game best, last reached in last year's win over Sacred Heart.

DeMEO RISING IN RECORD BOOKS
Senior Jess DeMeo has her sights set on a pair of program scoring records. DeMeo needs six goals to match Bryant's all-time goals mark of 177 set by Lauren Descalzo and tied Descalzo's D1 points record of 195 Wednesday.

DeMeo's 171 career goals rank eighth among active Division I players entering the week.

SIBLING RIVALRY
Senior Lauren Britton is one draw control away from tying the Bryant all-time career record set by her older sister, Nicole, who collected 171 from 2013-16. Lauren Britton's 77 draw controls in 2018 best the single-season best of Nicole, who tallied 53 as both a sophomore and senior.
