McCarthy Named Preseason All-New England by New England Lacrosse Journal

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- Grad student defender Megan McCarthy has been named to the preseason All-New England team, per New England Lacrosse Journal. She is in her fifth season with the Bulldogs program.

McCarthy was named first team All-NEC last season after posting career highs in draw controls, goals, assists, and total points. Her 3.5 draw controls per game were seventh best in the conference. She has started all but three games over the last two seasons for Bryant, and has twice been named to the NEC academic honor roll.
