WOMEN'S SOCCER SIGNS NINE STUDENT-ATHLETES TO NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT

SMITHFIELD, RI - Bryant University head women's soccer coach Chris Flint is pleased to announce the signing of nine student-athletes to National Letters of Intent to enroll and participate in women's soccer at the University this fall. The announcement was made Friday, Feb. 5th by Coach Flint and Director of Athletics Bill Smith. Joining the Bulldog squad are Shana Follette (Plymouth, Mass.), Ariana Goldberg (East Bridgewater, Mass.), Elizabeth Guimond (Claremont, N.H.), Alyssa Kozlowski (Ellicott City, Md.), Allison Muhlstock (Garden City, N.Y.), Kelley Murrone (Middletown, Conn.), Casey Schifano (Greenlawn, N.Y.), Julie Vajda (Midland Park, N.J.) and Lauren Viverito (Dayton, N.J.).

Bryant University will begin its third season of its four-year transition to full Division I membership. The school will officially become a member of the Northeast Conference in the fall of 2012.

Three-time all-league player... Nominated to Eastern Mass All Star team in 2008 and 2009... ACL leading scorer in 2009... Ranked 10th in career points (62) at Plymouth North, 6th in career goals (44) and 10th in single season goals (19)... Led team in scoring all four years... Four-year letterwinner in basketball... Participated in one year of track... Earned academic honors and member of the National honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Dwayne and Dori Follette, Shana Lee Follette was born on September 7, 1991... Has one brother, Connor and one sister, Kerrin... Plans to major in business at Bryant.

Nominated for Eastern Athletic Conference All Start team... Captain of Vikings and Cape Cod Lady Crusaders... Voted to Olympic Development list in 2009... Led team in scoring in 2007.... Four-year member of basketball team... Member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Rich Goldberg and Sandy Alemian, Ariana Lynn Goldberg was born on December 13, 1991... Has one brother, Austin... Plans to major in business at Bryant.

Before Bryant: A 2010 graduate of Stevens High School and four-year starter at defense for the Cardinals' soccer team... Named 1st team all-state in 2009 and 2nd team in 2008... Selected to New Hampshire Lions Cup team in 2009... Stevens team captain... Won the St. Joseph's Top Female Athlete Award... Earned one varsity letter in basketball... Won the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award... Member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Bob Guimond and Kathy Aldrich, Elizabeth "Mo" Lynn Guimond was born on February 21, 1992... Has one sister, Katie, who played soccer at Southern New Hampshire University from 2001-2004... Plans to major in business management at Bryant.

Before Bryant: A 2010 graduate of Howard High School and four-year starter for the Lions' soccer team... Named all-state honorable mention... Earned four-time all-county honors... Earned two varsity letters for outdoor track and one for indoor... Qualified for counties, regionals, states and the Penn Relays in 2007... Maryland Distinguished Scholar Honorable Mention... Member of Spanish and National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of John and Angie Kozlowski, Alyssa Nicole Kozlowski was born on November 4, 1992... Has one brother, Alexander... Major at Bryant is undecided.

Before Bryant: A 2010 graduate of Garden City High School a three-year starter and four-year letterwinner for the Trojans' soccer team... Captain of her team... Named two-time all-class... Led team in assists in 2008 and 2009... Named Female Scholar Athlete Award Winner in 2009... Played two years of basketball at Garden City HS... Member of Spanish and National Honor Society... Named to Principal's List all four years.

Personal: Daughter of Cynthia and Gary, Allie Brooke Muhlstock was born on February 20, 1992... Plans to major in communications at Bryant.

Kelley Murrone                                M/F     5-4                   Middletown, Conn. / Mercy HS
Before Bryant: A 2010 graduate of Mercy High School and four-year starter for the Tigers' soccer squad... Won Southern Connecticut Conference Quinnipiac Division Championship in 2008 and 2009... Ranked 11th in the state her junior year and made it to the state semifinals... Won 2008 and 2009 Club Soccer Jefferson Cup Championships... Named most-improved player in 2008... Two-year letterwinner on the indoor and outdoor track teams... Holds school record for 4x100 relay... Won 2008 SCC Quinnipiac Division Championship in the 1600... National Honor Society member.

Personal: Daughter of John and Patricia Murrone, Kelley Marie Murrone was born on December 22, 1991... Has on brother, Andrew and one sister, Kristen... Kristen plays soccer at Clark University... Major is undecided at Bryant.
