Bulldogs host River Hawks Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.

SMITHFIEKD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's soccer team returns to Bulldog Soccer Field to take on UMass Lowell on Thursday at 4 p.m.

After being on the road for three-straight games, the Bulldogs (1-6) are back in Smithfield to face off against the River Hawks (1-5). The Black and Gold finished their three-game road trip at 1-2, defeating Fairfield, 3-1 (Sept. 6), while UMass is coming off their first win of the season against Wagner.

Sophomore Haley Reddish (Natick, Mass.) is leading the Bulldogs' offensive effort, totally two points off a goal against Rhode Island (9/3) and producing 14 shots on the season.

Freshman Alex Ralph (Peterborough, Ont.) has started all seven games for the Bulldogs and continues to contribute to the Bulldog attack, firing off four of eight shots on net.

Fellow midfielder Hannah Crofut (East Amherst, N.Y.) also tallied eight total shots and located one between the pipes against Fairfield (Sept. 6).

Sophomore goalie Rachel Brightman (Rochester, N.Y.) received the starting role in the last three games, hauling in 23 saves for the Bulldogs.

Lowell keeper Julia Schneider has started all six games for the River Hawks as a freshman, gathering 21 saves off 38 opponent attempts.

Sophomore Rachel Morrier heads the River Hawks' attack with three goals for six points and seven of 11 shots on goal.
