Women’s soccer to bring awareness to pediatric cancer Sunday against the Knights

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's soccer team will take on Fairleigh Dickinson in a home Northeast Conference match on Sunday at 1:00 p.m., and will bring awareness to those suffering from pediatric cancer.

A child is diagnosed with cancer every two minutes, and childhood cancer is the number one cause of death for children in the United States. This week's theme is #GOGOLD, as the women's soccer team will help spread awareness to the disease. The team will be selling #GOGOLD t-shirts at Sunday's game to continue the support and fight against pediatric cancer.

For more information, please visit Cancer.org, and to contribute to the cause, make sure to stop by Bulldog Soccer Field this Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
