Biggs adds eight in Class of 2027

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Head coach Andy Biggs of the Bryant University women's soccer team is excited to welcome eight players to Smithfield from the class of 2027.

 "I'm very pleased to welcome the class of 2027 to Smithfield. We've enjoyed getting to know each of them over the course of the recruiting process and believe these student-athletes will be an excellent fit for our program and school", Coach Biggs said.  "They will add athleticism and skill to each line of our team, and we look forward to them starting their Bulldog careers next August."

 

Colleen Ardolino | Center Back | Milford, Conn. | Joseph A. Foran High School (Connecticut Football Club ECNL)

Before Bryant: Four-year letter winner who produced 47 goals and 15 assists in her career... As a freshman, her team went 10-7-2, and she was named to the All-SCC first team... During her sophomore year, she helped her team produce an 8-5-1 record and was named to the All-Division Group C team and the New Haven Register All-Area Girls Soccer Team... She made the All-State team as a Junior and went 9-6-2... In 2022, Ardolino was named to the All-SCC first team and was one of the Top-25 HS Girls' Soccer players to watch... Played for Connecticut Football Club from 2017-2023... Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Susan and Louis Ardolino... Has one brother and one sister.

 

Tatum Cordon | Outside Back | Holliston, Mass. | Holliston High School (NEFC GA)

Before Bryant: Three-year varsity player at Holliston High School... Recorded 15 goals and 18 assists during her career... Was a two-time TVL honorable mention... Named the Boston Globe Player of the Week... A two-time Metrowest Daily News Player of the Week and a two-time member of the Metrowest Daily News fantastic five... Played for NEFC from 2013-2023... Member of the Honor Roll.

Personal: Daughter of Jill and Jeremy Cordon... Has one brother and one sister.

 

Ashley Cunningham | Defense | Belchertown, Mass. | Belchertown High School (FC Stars Blue ECNL)

Before Bryant: A four-year letter winner, who recorded seven assists and one goal in her career... She accumulated records of 9-9-1, 6-0-1, 17-5-1, and 10-3-5 as a member of the Orioles... In 2021, she made the All-Western Mass second team, the All-League team, and was named the Defender of the Year... Played for FC Stars from 2014-2023.

Personal: Daughter of Sara Gardner and Rob Cunningham... Has one brother and one sister.

 

Lilian Gosselin | Goalkeeper | Swampscott, Mass. | Swampscott High School (NEFC)

Before Bryant: Four-year letter winner at Swampscott High School... As a freshman led her team to the Quarterfinals and recorded six shutouts... Had a winning record during her sophomore year... She went 10-4-4 during her junior campaign, posted 12 shutouts, and allowed only 8 goals all year...Tallied a 10-5-3 record as a senior, allowing 12 goals and scoring two of her own... Played for NEFC from 2021-2023 and helped her team win the League Championship... Member of the National Honors Society.

Personal: Daughter of Maia and Emil Gosselin... Has one sister. 

 

Emily McGee | Center Back | Highland Mills, N.Y. | Monroe-Woodbury High School (Force FC)

Before Bryant: Two-Year varsity starter at Monroe-Woodbury High School... In 2021, she helped her team achieve a 17-3 record and won the Section 9 Class AA Championship... As a senior, she was named team captain and was selected to the All-Star team while leading her team to a 17-2-1 record and another Section 9 Class AA Championship... Played for Force FC from 2011-2023... As a member of Force FC, she is a two-time N.Y. State Cup Champion, a two-time Force FC Showcase Champion, and won the 2021 VisitRaleigh.com Championship... Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Kevin and Tricia McGee... Has two brothers.

 

Shannon Mejia | Goalkeeper | Milford, Mass. | Medway High School (FC Stars)

Before Bryant: Four-year varsity player at Medway High School... Tallied 13 goals and five assists in her career... In 2021 she was named the Tri-Valley league MVP, a MetroWest all-star, and named team MVP... Played for FC Stars from 2020-2022 and helped her team win the State Cup in 2021... Honor Roll student.

Personal: Daughter of Kim and Eliot Mejia... Has two sisters and two brothers.

 

Alison Mokriski | Forward | Scarborough, ME. | Scarborough High School (Seacoast United GA)

Before Bryant: Played varsity soccer for four years for the Red Storm... As a freshman recorded 15 goals and eight assists and was named the Rookie of the Year... Posted five goals and two assists during her sophomore season, named to the all-conference team... Received the honor of All-State and All-Conference as a junior when she posted 21 goals and eight assists... As a senior, she tallied 23 goals and 15 assists and helped her team to a 17-0 record and Maine Class State Championship... Scarorough's all-time leader in goals, assists, and total points… Played for Seacoast Maine United and Seacoast United GA from 2018-2023.

Personal: Daughter of Tricia and Ciaran Mokriski... Has one sister.

 

Samantha Zaslaw | Forward | Marshfield, Mass. | Marshfield High School (Liverpool/South Shore Select)

Before Bryant: A three-year letter winner at Marshfield High School... Named an Eastern Mass second-team all-star as a junior... During her senior season, she tallied 17 goals and seven assists and was second in the league in points... Made the Eastern Mass first-team all-star team as a senior... Player for the Liverpool and South Shore Select club teams from 2011-2023... Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Keith and Sarah Zaslaw... Has two sisters.
