Coach's comments on the loss...

" I was proud of how we competed today. We passed well, worked hard for 90 minutes, and created a couple of very goos chances in each half. After a scoreless first half, we conceded from a scramble corner kick and took a bit longer to bounce back than we should've. We'll leanr form our mistakes and raise our game just a bit in both boxes the next time we play."

Key Moment

  • The Wildcats scored twice in two minutes during the second half to secure the win.

Scoring Summary

  • 53rd minute - Bryant 0, UNH 1- After a corner, a bouncing ball was sent in from the top side of the 18-yard box. The ball initially found Meghan Guarente who then knocked the ball to Megan Logue. From there, Logue one-timed the ball into the lower right corner of the goal.
  • 54th minute - Bryant 0, UNH 2 - Keeper Kathryn McNeil made a great initial save but the ball had so much power on it that it fell to Chloe DeLyser at the top of the box. DeLyser got the ball to Katie Oliver who hit the ball into the right side of the net from roughly 20 yards out.

Notes and Notables

  • Bryant goalie McNeil made a career and season high nine saves in the game. McNeil also played all 90 minutes in the contest for the second time this year.
  • One of the Bulldogs best chances came in the 88th minute when Rebecca Rocker slipped a ball to Jordyn Collins. Collins was in a one-on-one with the UNH keeper but was unable to get the ball past her.
  • Six different players registered shots for the Black and Gold. Junior Catherine Bean led the way with four shots while Jordyn Collins and Emily SUpple both had three.
