Bean named to America East Second Team

BOSTON - Junior Catherine Bean of the Bryant University women's soccer team was named to the America East Second Team by the conference in their end of season awards announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

Bean started all 16 games for the Bulldogs this season. The Westfield, Massachusetts native racked up two goals and four assists which included the game winning goals against Fairfield and Vermont. Bean was also the team leader in points (8) and shots (33).

This is the third end of year award that Bean has received. During her standout freshman year, in which she had the best season in Bryant's DI program history, Bean was named to the All-NEC Second Team and NEC All-Rookie Team.
