Bio

As a sophomore: Ostrander has etched her name into the Bulldog record books as one of the most prolific swimmers in Bryant history... She holds five schools records (50-yard Free, 100-yard Free, 50-yard Back, 100-yard Back, and 200-yard Back) and has recorded two pool records (50-yard back, 100-yard back)... Ostrander was named NEC Swimmer of the Week on two different occasions (2/8/11; 12/7/10)... Set a pool records in the 50-yard backstroke (27.11) against UVM (11/21/10), and in the 100-yard backstroke (57.67) versus CCSU (11/5/10).

As a freshman: Ostrander made a big impact in her first year with the Bulldogs, setting four individual school records in the 50 free, 100 free, 100 back and the 200 back... First three also set Chace Center pool records with times of 23.85, 51.93, 56.31 and 2:01.93, respectively... Also a member of four school-record holding relay teams (200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay).   

Before Bryant: Four-year varsity letterwinner at Barnstable High School... Captain junior and senior year... Swam sprint freestyle and backstroke events... 2007 Bay Colony League Champion in 100 freestyle, swimming a 53.83... 2009 YMCA New England Champion in 100 backstroke, swimming a 58.14... 2009 league champion in 50 freestyle... Helped 400 freestyle relay team to league championship in 2008... Named Boston Globe Division I Swimmer of the Year for junior and senior year... YMCA National qualifier... Massachusetts South Sectional record holder in 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 400 freestyle... Massachusetts Division I state champion in 50 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay... Four-year Bay Colony League all-star... Four-year Cape Cod all-star... Also earned four varsity letters in field hockey.

Personal: Daughter of Michael and Phyllis Ostrander...Born on May 2, 1991 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts... Has both an older brother and sister that graduated from Bryant and an older sister at Auburn University... Parents are biggest influence on her life.
