Frye named NEC, ECAC Diver of the Week

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Senior Kailey Frye (Lakeville, Mass.) has been named the Northeast Conference Diver of the Week and the ECAC Co-Diver of the week after winning the 3 meter dive and finishing second in the 1 meter dive last Saturday at Holy Cross.

The honor is the first this season for Frye and the second in her career. She earned the first-ever weekly diving honor for the Bulldogs last season. Frye also becomes the first ever Bulldog diver to earn an ECAC weekly honor.

On Saturday, Frye won the 3 meter dive with a total of 186.14 points, just shy of her own school record. She finished second in the 1 meter dive with 178.88 points, a new personal best.
