Rice named NEC Rookie of the Week for second time

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University women's swimming and diving freshman Jillian Rice (Trumbull, Conn.) has been named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.

The weekly honor is the second for Rice this season. In the Bulldogs' first meet of the year new year, Rice won an individual event and helped the 400 medley relay team to a victory as well. She claimed the 200 free with a time of 1:59.03.
