As a freshman: One of several freshmen that enjoyed a strong season in 2016-17 ... Earned eight first-place finishes and 22 top-three finishes on the year ... Finished 14th in the 200 IM (2:09.82), 12th in the 100 breast IM (1:05.35) and 10th in the 200 breast (2:21.59) ... All three times at the NECs were season-best times. 

Before Bryant: Four-year varsity letterwinner at Saint John Baptist High School … Three-time All-League selection … Three-time team MVP … CHSSA 100 breast record holder ... Cum Laude honors.

Personal: The daughter of John and Lisamarie Brant, Eliza Brant was born on Dec. 28, 1997.
