For sixth consecutive semester, both Bulldog teams earn CSCAA Scholar All-America honors

Norfolk, Va.  – The Bryant University men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named the 2018 College Swim Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America list based on their performances in the classroom during the Spring 2018 semester.

Both of Bryant's programs were two of the 710 teams nationwide in NCAA Division I, II and II, as well as NAIA and NJCAA schools, that finished with a combined team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Bulldog men finished with a 3.27 GPA, while the women capped the semester with a 3.32 mark, extending their streak of both teams earning the honor to six consecutive semesters.

This performance in the classroom, combined with the final results of the 2017-18 season that had the men record a record-high in points at the MAAC Championships and the women earning their first ever conference championship, finishes off a historic year for the program.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
