Bulldogs break school record at Day 1 of NECs

Carlisle, Pa. - The Bryant Univeristy women's swimming and diving team are in first place with a score of 264.5 after breaking the school record in the 200 free relay on Day 1 of the Northeast Conference Championships.

Notes and Notables

  • The Black and Gold began the meet by claiming victory and breaking a school record in the 200 free relay. The team of Alexa Rivera, Alyvia Beaudion, Laurel Carey, and Erin Doruska combined for a time of 1:37.83.
  • The Bulldogs added two more medals in the 50 free. Rivera (23.22) earned the silver, and Beaudion received the bronze with a time of 23.53.
  • Bryant ended the night with a second-place finish in the 400 medley relay. Julia Stenhård, Elin Svärd, Rivera, and Doruska touched the wall at 3:46.89.
