Bryant wins 8 medals on Day 2 of NECs
Carlisle, Pa. - The Bryant Univeristy women's swimming and diving won eight medals total on day two of the Northeast Conference Championships.
Notes and Notables
- The Black and Gold began the meet with a victory in the 200 medley relay. The team of Alexa Rivera, Alyvia Beaudion, Elin Svärd, and Julia Stenhård recorded a time of 1:43.06.
- Sammi Grenon earned the bronze medal in the 400 IM with a time of 4:26.40.
- The Bulldogs had a clean sweep in the 100 fly. Rivera placed first (55.48), Stenhård received second-place (55.79), and Sara Gendron earned third-place (55.84).
- Bryant found the podium again with a third-place finish in the 200 free from Erin Doruska (1:51.34).
- Stenhård picked up her second silver medal of the day in the 100 back by touching the wall at 54.72.
- The Bulldogs finished the night earning a silver medal in the 800 free relay. Doruska, Grenon, Laurel Carey, and Beaudion posted a time of 7:35.78.
- The Black and Gold are in first place with a team score of 528.5.
