Mays, Lord, Luna Earn NEC Weekly Awards

SOMERSET, NJ- Bryant swimmers dominated the NEC weekly awards announced Wednesday. Matthew Mays was named men's co-swimmer of the week and Leo Luna was named men's rookie of the week, while Reagan Lord was named women's swimmer and rookie of the week.

Lord won five races and and had a third place in vs. Providence and Boston University. She claimed victories in both meets in the 100 and 200 back. She also won the 200 IM vs. Providence and finished third in the event in Boston.

Mays picked up a pair of wins in the 100 and 200 back in the Providence and Boston meets, and was on the winning 200 medley realy team vs. the Friars. He also notched runner up finishes in the 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, and 200 IM over the course of the Bulldogs' opening weekend.

Luna won the 1000 and 500 free vs. Providence, He came third in 1000 free and fourth in 500 free in the Boston tri-meet.
