Bulldog Swimming and Diving Dueling With Providence

PROVIDENCE/SMITHFIELD - The Bryant swimming and diving teams will compete in their second dual meet of the season when they take on Providence this Thursday and Friday. Both diving teams will square off Thursday night at Brown, with the swimming teams dueling in a home-and-home on Friday.

Bulldog Notes and Notables

  • The Bryant women's team defeated Binghamton in their first America East dual meet last weekend. They won 12 of 16 events against the Bearcats.

  • Reagan Lord won four times at Binghamton, including a sweep of the individual backstroke events. She also won the 200 IM and 200 medley relay.

  • The Bulldog women won both relay events, with Lord, Marcella Figueroa, Nellie Clark, and Erin Doruska taking the 200 medley and Figueroa, Jill Carline, Charlee LeGallais, and Hallie Campbell taking the 400 free.

  • Griffin Lajoie swept the backstroke events on the men's side. Roman San Juan (100 and 200) and John Ossi (100) also took podium finishes in the back.

  • Andrew Gamper (200 fly) and Leo Luna (1000 free) also won events for the men.
