Women's tennis hosts Women in Tennis Together event
SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis program, in conjunction with the United States Tennis Association, will hold Women in Tennis Together at the Bryant Tennis Courts on May 19 from 1-5 p.m.
The event, which is intended to inspire women to achieve success beyond the tennis court, will include:
On court instruction and match play
Interaction with an all-female coaching staff
Enrichment activities that cultivate a community around women and tennis
Opportunities to play tennis in your community and beyond
The event is open to all female tennis players in high school grades 9-12.
"I was able to be a part of this event last year, so to be hosting the event here on Bryant's campus is a great honor," head coach Barbara Cilli said. "Tennis has been very good to me over my lifetime, so to be able to work here on our beautiful campus with a group of young women who want to be involved in the sport they love is truly rewarding in many ways."
