Bulldogs fall to FDU on Saturday

GREENVILLE, R.I. – The Bryant University women's tennis team fell to Northeast Conference preseason favorite Fairleigh Dickinson, 6-1, on Saturday night at Rally Point.

How It Happened

• FDU took the doubles point with victories at all three spots. Aleksi Gottlieb (Plantation, Fla.) and Megan Tan (Calgary, Alberta) battled at No. 2, going to a tiebreak before falling 9-7.
• In singles, Bryant claimed its only point at No. 6. Gottlieb won in three sets.
• All but one singles match went three sets as the Bulldogs dropped heartbreakers at 2, 3, 4 and 5.
