Health is the key for Boss coming off a significant back injury that cut her sophomore season short. She will return as one of the Bulldogs' top hitters and coaches will look to move her back to her natural position at rightside. Boss enters her junior campaign ranked No. 12 all-time in program block assists (164) and No. 16 in total blocks (181).

In the record books: Boss holds a a number of all-time single-match, single-season and career records... SINGLE-MATCH: tied for sixth in block assists (3x); tied for 18th in attack percentage (.696 at Quinnipiac, Oct. 8.2008)... SINGLE-SEASON: first in block assists (139, 2007); ninth in blocks per set (1.06, 2007)... CAREER: seventh in block assists (223); ninth in serve percentage (.911); 14th in total blocks (241); 20th in attack percentage (.205).

As a junior: Appeared in 34 matches, starting in five as a junior captain for the Bulldogs... Colelcted 172 kills and 60 blocks (1s, 59a) on the season, both good for fourth on the team... Also chipped in 37 assists... Posted double-digit kills four times.

As a sophomore: Appeared in 23 matches, starting in 21 with 85 sets played before being sidelined with a back injury mid-October... Recorded 148 kills (fifth on team) and 30 blocks (tied for fourth) with 165 points (fifth best).

As a freshman: As a freshman, Boss saw action in 143 sets... Defensively, gave the Bulldogs 35 digs and led the team with 148 total blocks... Also added 301 kills, good for third best on the team ... Named a third team all-conference selection.

Before Bryant: Four-year starting outside hitter at Central Catholic High School... Helped lead team to state tournament all four years, including a Merrimack Valley Conference co-championship in 2003... Two-Year MVC All-Star... Team captain... MVC All-Star in track... Holds school high jump record... Played for Latitude 42 Volleyball Club.

Personal: Daughter of John and Fran Boss, Adrienne Ivana Boss was born February 25, 1989... Has two sisters, Ellen, who played soccer and softball at Emerson College, and Maureen, who ran track at Bucknell... Majors in management in the College of Business.
