Bio

Having emerged as one of Bryant's strongest leaders, Geonnotti will play a crucial role in setting the example and motivating a very young Bulldog team. Geonnotti, who will return to her natural position at outside hitter after filling into the setter role as a junior, enters her senior season ranked No. 17 on Bryant's all-time kills list (729) and No. 20 in all-time career points (851.5).

In the record books: Geonnotti leaves Bryant with a number of single-game, single-season and career records... SINGLE-GAME: tied for sixth in block assists (8 at Brown, Sept. 10, 2009); tied for 18th in total blocks (9 at Brown, Sept. 10, 2009)... SINGLE-SEASON: fourth in serve percentage (.962, 2007); fifth in serve percentage (.961, 2009); 16th in serve percentage (.931, 2006)... CAREER: third in serve percentage (.942); eighth in assists (665); 12th in kills (883), block assists (173) and matches played (152); 13th in sets played (501); 14th in points (1055.5); 18th in total blocks (183) and 20th in digs (816).

As a senior: Appeared in all 34 matches and all 126 sets as a senior captain, doubling as an outside hitter and setter for the second season... Finished the season second on the team in assists with 444... Finished third on the year in both blocks with 64 (2s, 62a) and digs with 268... Finished her final season with 154 kills, 17 service aces and 204 points, commiting just three reception errors in 59 attempts for a .949 reception percentage... Recorded eight double-doubles in 2009... fell just a single block short of her second-career triple-double against Brown on Sept. 18, collecting 18 assists, 13 digs and a career-high nine blocks... Registered nine double-digit dig performances and 22 double-digit assist outings... Collected a season-best 14 kills against Brown on Sept. 26... Collected 20 or more assists on 10 occasions and a career-high 31 helpers at Columbia on Sept. 18... As a junior: Began year as an outside hitter and doubled as a setter midway through 2008 season... Recorded the program's first triple-double since the 1997 season when she collected 15 kills, 21 assists and 17 digs in the season finale against North Dakota... Was the only player in the NEC and one of just 35 DI athletes to accomplish such a feat in 2008... Played in 34-of-35 matches for the Bulldogs, starting in 32 and playing in 119 sets... Despite her double roles, Geonnotti finished the year fourth in kills (156), second in assists (190), third in total blocks (35) and fourth in points (183), collecting 100 digs and nine service aces... Named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll.

As a sophomore: After an impressive freshman campaign, Geonnotti continued her success in 2007, seeing action in 135 sets... Totaled 145 digs and 56 blocks... Notched 357 kills... Named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic Second Team.  

As a freshman: Played in 121 sets, recording 216 kills, 303 digs and 46 service aces... Hit .875 (7-0-15) vs. Saint Michael's and .632 (12-0-19) vs. Merrimack... Season-best 19 kills vs. Franklin Pierce... Had 13 kills in three-set win over Saint Anselm... Season-high 54 swings vs. Franklin Pierce... Before Bryant: A 2006 graduate of Benilde-St. Margaret's High School, Geonnotti was a starting outside hitter as a junior and senior and four-year letterwinner for coach Ted Fleener... Led team to two-straight North Suburban Conference titles... 2005 all-conference selection... Member of Red Knight's Volunteer Corps and Red Carpet Club... Played with MI Volleyball Club.
