Bio

One of the Bulldogs' standout outside hitters in 2008, Stoner is an explosive jumper and quick attacker and will be a threat to tally a double-double in every outing. A potent server and moneyball passer, the Bulldogs also have high expectations of her on defense in 2009. 

In the record books: Stoner currently sits 20th all-time in kills in a career (649) and 15th all-time for kills per set (2.60) in a career.

As a sophomore: Appeared in all 34 matches, starting in 33 while playing in all but one set in her second season... Finished second on the team in kills (351), kills per set (2.81), service aces (29) and points (397, 3.18/set)... Finished fourth on the team in digs with 228 and put up 34 total blocks on the year... Boasted a .865 reception percentage... Recorded a career-high 21 kills at Columbia on Sept. 18... Served up a career-best five aces the next day against league rival Fairleigh Dickinson to help the Bulldogs to a five-set win... Earned all-tournament team honors in the season-opening Toledo Tournament... Posted six double-doubles on the season and collected double-digit kill totals in 17 matches... Named to Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll... Earned an All-Independent All-Academic Team nod.

As a freshman: Appeared in all 35 matches, starting in 16 and playing in all but one set... Was hot-handed to start her freshman campaign and was among the top three in kills the entire season... Earned all-tournament honors in her first three career tournaments (Navy, Sacred Heart, Holy Cross)... Finished the year third on the team in kills (298) and points (331), fourth in digs (181) and fifth in service aces (19)... Named to the NEC All-Academic Honor Roll.

Before Bryant: A 2008 graduate of Durango High School, Stoner was a three-year varsity starter... Led team to the Southwest League Championship and third-place finish at the Colorado State Championships in 2006... Took first-place honors at the King of the Mountain Doubles Tournament as a sophomore and junior... Named all-state selection... Team captain in 2007... Named Team MVP and first team all-conference as a senior... Led team to a pair of undefeated seasons and back-to-back league championships in 2006 and 2007... Two-year student council member... Recipient of the Renaissance Award given to students in the top 10 percent... Named an all-academic first team selection in 2006 and 2007.
