Brooklyn, N.Y. -- The Bryant University women's volleyball team picked up a solid 3-1 win over Long Island University Saturday afternoon at LIU's Wellness Center, earning its 17th victory of the season to set a new single-season wins record in the Division I era. Bryant would take the third set, 25-17, and closed out the match with a 25-20 win, thanks to a .387 team hitting percentage. Sophomore Emily Kaup (Chandler, Ariz.) hit .417 for the match with six kills and only one error in 12 swings. Junior middle hitter Maria Scocca (Melrose, Mass.) recorded eight kills and posted a team-best five blocks.
