SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Freshman Claire Van Dyk (New Richmond, Wis.) and sophomore Jocelyn Taylor (Marlborough, Conn.) led the contest with 10 and eight kills apiece, respectively, as the Bryant University volleyball team snapped a four-match losing skid with a 3-0 sweep of Quinnipiac on the road Thursday night.

Junior Alexandria Clyburn (Cartersville, Ga.) posted a match-high seven blocks to compliment six kills while senior captain Jadith Lorenzo (Lawrence, Mass.) dished out a contest-best 30 of the team's 39 assists. Bryant (10-19, 4-8 Northeast Conference) hit .326 as a team and dominated at the net with 20 blocks on the match. Senior Emily Kaup (Chandler, Ariz.) was also strong on the block, contributing six stuffs, including one solo block.

Tanner Celestin led Quinnipiac (1-21, 0-13) with eight kills while Logan Riker tied Bulldog defenders Macy Mitravich (Waimanalo, Hawaii) and Elena Lohr (Loveland, Ohio) with a match-best nine digs. The Bryant win gives Thursday's visitors a season sweep after previously topping the Bobcats, 3-1, in Smithfield on Oct. 17.

Bryant trailed just once in the match, coming early in the second set, to take 25-16, 26-14 and 25-18 decisions en route to its 10th victory of the season. The Black and Gold nearly doubled up their hosts in the digs column, 41-24, and made half as many mistakes on offense, recording just 12 attack errors to Quinnipiac's 23.

The Bulldogs return to the Chace Athletic Center for their final weekend of home competition Saturday and Sunday, hosting St. Francis (NY) Nov. 3 at 5 p.m. before welcoming league-leading and undefeated LIU Brooklyn Sunday at 1 p.m. for 2012 Senior Day.
