Flynn featured by ESPN.com for creative highlight-reel plays

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University volleyball junior Julia Flynn (Pembroke, Mass.) was recently featured by ESPN.com for her on-court creativity that has led to a trio of highlight-reel plays during the month of September.

The junior outside hitter leads the Bulldogs with 2.95 kills per set and is second on the team with 3.00 digs per set. Flynn was named Molten/NEC Player of the Week Sept. 18.

Bryant is 11-8 on the year and 2-0 in Northeast Conference play. The Bulldogs return to action at the Chace Athletic Center Friday at 6 p.m. when they host Central Connecticut.
