Bryant newcomers to compete at Junior Nationals

DALLAS – All six incoming freshmen on the Bryant University volleyball team will compete this weekend in the USA Volleyball Girls 18s Junior National Championships in Dallas.

Bulldog newcomers Mia Cergol (East Northport, N.Y.), Riley James (Pocasset, Mass.), Emma McGovern (Long Beach, N.Y.), Abby Rae (Walpole, Mass.), Maggie Ryan (Bethesda, Md.) and Alysa Wright (Wayne, Pa.) will take part in the three-day tournament beginning Friday at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center.

"Having all six of our newest Bulldogs playing in this tournament speaks to the level of talent in our incoming class," said head coach Theresa Garlacy. "We wish them the best of luck in Dallas this weekend and can't wait to have them on the court for us at the Chace."
