Rae Named America East Defensive Specialist of the Week

BOSTON, MA - Bryant volleyball's Abby Rae has been named America East Defensive Specialist of the Week to open the 2022 season. It is the first weekly award garnered by a Bryant athlete in the America East.

Rae was the starting libero for all three matches at the Hofstra Tournament, recording 39 digs (4.33 per set), 15 assists, and one ace for the Bulldogs. Her 16 digs, seven assists, and one ace helped Bryant defeat the host Pride for their first win of the season.

Rae and the Bulldogs will hit the Chace Center court tonight for the home opener. They will be taking on Stonehill at 7:00 p.m., with the match being streamed on ESPN+.
