Duka named NEC Rookie of the Week

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Coming off a strong performance in his first collegiate race, Bryant University cross country freshman Milan Duka (Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro) has been named the Northeast Conference Men's Cross Country Co-Rookie of the Week.

Duka finished 13th at the Ted Owen Invitational with a time of 27:11.00 to pace the Bulldogs to a fifth-place finish. He was the second NEC rookie to cross the finish line and was eighth among all NEC harriers.
