Bulldog XC finishes strong at NCAA Regionals

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University cross country teams competed in the NCAA Regionals on Friday afternoon at Van Cortlandt Park in New York.

The Bulldog women finished 32nd out of 37 teams, while the men finished 33rd out of 35 teams.

Melissa Lodge (Hopkinton, Mass.), Emily McNeil (Shelton, Conn.), Elizabeth Willmonton (Rowley, Mass.), Jacklyn Sullivan (Plymouth, Mass.), Olivia Weiss (Newton, N.J.) and Sarah Lapham (Greenwich, N.Y.) all competed for the Black and Gold. Lodge finished 129th, McNeil finished 166th, Willmonton finished 186th, Sullivan finished 213th, Weiss finished 219th and Lapham finished 221st.

Milan Duka (Belgrade, Serbia), Matt McGovern (Long Beach, N.Y.), Richard Landry (Holyoke, Mass.), Ryan Poholek (North Attleboro, Mass.), Brian Salit (Seekonk, Mass.), Ryan Gannon (Litchfield, Conn.) and Harrison McKinlay (Sutton, Mass.) all ran for the men. Duka finished 140th, McGovern finished 193rd, Landry finished 205th, Poholek finished 213th, Salit finished 226th, Gannon finished 227th and McKinlay finished 230th.
