Sullivan, Weiss named to NEC All-Rookie Team

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Freshmen Jacklyn Sullivan (Plymouth, Mass.) and Olivia Weiss (Newton, N.J.) of the Bryant University women's cross country team have been named to the Northeast Conference All-Rookie Team, announced by the league on Tuesday.

Sullivan finished 20th at the NEC Championships with a time of 20:39.1. She was one of four Bulldogs to finish in the top 20. Weiss ran to a 34th-place finish at her first championship race, posting a time of 21:31.0.

Bryant joined Sacred Heart as the only team with two runners on the NEC All-Rookie Team. This is the first year the league has named an all-rookie team. It is comprised of the first seven rookie finishers in each championship race.
