Tellier takes home NEC Rookie of the Week

SMITHFIELD -- Freshman Noah Tellier (North Kingstown, Rhode Island) was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week on Tuesday.

The first-year Bulldog finished 13th at the Shawn M. Nassaney Invitational, his first collegiate race, with a time of 26:58.8 and was the top Bryant finisher in the 8K. The freshman averaged a mile pace of 5:26.

Tellier and the Bulldogs are next in action on Sept. 23, when they travel to New Britain, Connecticut, to compete in the Ted Owens Invitational.
