NCAA Northeast Regional up next for Bryant

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – After competing in the NEC Championship, the Bryant University men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete Friday, November 9 in the NCAA Northeast Regional in Buffalo, N.Y.

Course: Audubon Golf Course (Buffalo, N.Y.)
Teams: Niagara, Syracus, Binghamtom, Forham, Cornell, UMass Amherst, Manhattan, Columbia, UMass Lowell, Quinnipiac, Siena, Hofstra, Wagner, Army West Point, Vermont, Yale, Harvard, Holy Cross, Buffalo, Dartmouth, Connecticut, Albany, Stony Brook, Iona, Boston U, Canisius, Central Connecticut, Brown, St. Francis Brooklyn, St. John's, Hartford, Fairfield, Northeastern, Providence, Marist, Sacred Heart, Colgate, Boston College, New Hampshire.
Time: Women's 6K – 10:00 a.m. | Men's 10K – 12:00 p.m.

Bulldogs Notes and Notables:

  • At the NEC Championship, junior Noah Tellier (North Kingstown, R.I.) and senior Matt McGovern (Long Beach, N.Y.) received All-NEC Honors by finishing in the top 14.
  • Last season at Regionals, the men's team finished 33 and the women finished 32 overall.
  • Caroline Meizen (Douglas, Mass.) was the top returning finisher for the women last year finishing with a time of 26:48.9.
  • McGovern was the top finisher at Regionals last year for the men placing in the 153 spot with a time of 34:53.2.
