Bulldogs enjoy a successful NEC Championship
PLAINVILLE, Mass. – Juniors Jason Dolan, Julia Ayres, and Sarah Freeman led the men's and women's Bryant University cross country teams to strong finishes at the Northeast Conference Cross Country Championship.
All three Bulldogs earned All-Conference honors for finishing in the top-14. Dolan led the men to one of their best finishes since 2015 in fourth, while the women repeated in sixth-place.
COACH SWITZER COMMENTS
"What a wild ride," said head coach Mitch Switzer. "I'm incredibly proud of the resilience, grit, and determination from this group. Between the adversity of the past year and the sudden changes made this week, they were able to roll with whatever was thrown their way and execute. It was a whirlwind cross season, but they put in a lot of hard work to get to this point. To have three finish All-Conference is huge for our program and I'm excited to see what this group will do over the next few years. A big thank you goes out to the Bryant administration and Ryan Poholek '18 for making this meet happen."
