Cross Country announces 2023 Schedule

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Director of Cross Country/Track and Field Mitchell Switzer announced the 2023 Bryant University cross country schedule on Monday afternoon. 

The Bulldogs will compete in seven meets this fall, beginning on September 1 at the University of Maine Pre-Conference meet. 

Following its opening weekend foray to Vactionland, the Black and Gold will return home for the Nassaney Invitational on Saturday, September 9. Bryant's women's cross country team is the defending team champion from a year ago. 

Bryant will then return to Bethelem, Pa. for the first time since 2017 when it competes in the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University on September 30. 

The Black and Gold open October with the NEICAAA Championships in Boston, before competing in the Vermont Fall Foliage Invitational. 

The 2023 America East Cross Country Championships is scheduled for October 27 in Orono, Maine. 

Following the championship meet will be the NCAA Northeast Regional meet. It will be held at Van Cortlandt Park on November 11.
