Quartet power Bryant past NJIT on Saturday afternoon

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Sherif Gross-Bullock, Daniel Rivera, Rafael Pinzon and Miles Latimer combined for 78 points as the Bryant University men's basketball team cruised to a 101-82 victory over NJIT on Saturday afternoon at the Chace Athletic Center.

With the victory, the Bulldogs improve to 18-12 overall and 10-5 in the America East. Bryant will play its regular season finale on Tuesday night at the Chace. The 2024 Jersey Mike's America East Men's Basketball Playoffs begin Saturday, March 9.

Gross-Bullock finished with 22 points and Rivera added 22 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists to pace the attack. Pinzon chipped in 19 points and five assists, while Latimer hit five threes and finished with 17. Tyler Brelsford gave Bryant five in double figures with 11.

How it Happened

  • NJIT hit back-to-back threes to open the scoring but Latimer shot Bryant right back into the game.
