Bryant wraps up road trip in Delaware

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – After an opening night loss in Baltimore Friday, the Bryant University men's soccer team will be seeking a split of their two-game road trip on Monday night when they take on Delaware.

Series History

  • This is the first meeting in program history between the Bulldogs and Blue Hens.

Bulldogs Notes and Notables

  • The Bulldogs are playing their first team from the Colonial Athletic Association since they took on VCU in 2008.
  • Senior goalie Nick Stewart (South Windsor, Conn.) has recorded an .800 save percentage in four of his last six appearances, dating back to last season.
  • Sophomore Alexander Wrona (Burlington, Conn.) finished Friday night with three shots and has now recorded multiple shots in his last three appearances going back to 2016, proving his creating ability in the final third.

  • Carlos Perales also returns from last season after recording nine points on two goals and five assists.
  • Returning in net for Delaware is Todd Morton, who finished with a 1.14 GAA and .750 save percentage in 2016 with seven clean sheets.
