Series History

  • This will be the second time these squads face-off.
  • These two teams played each other for the first time last season when the Bulldogs joined the America East.

  • For the first time in program history, the Black and Gold are ranked in the Top 25. Bryant came in this week's poll at #24 after many weeks of being in the receiving votes category.
  • The Bulldogs lead the country in team goals against average, save percentage,and shutout percentage. They are also second in goal differential and third in win-loss-tie percentage.
  • Antreas Hadjigavriel was named the America East Defensive Player of the Week after making eight saves in two shutouts last week. Javier Soler Gandia was named to both the College Soccer News and TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal at Northeastern.
  • There are four players on the Bryant squad that have registered 10+ points so far this season. Marc Pitarch Bayot, Inigo Villaldea, Vicente Valor Martinez, and Adrian Camacho have a combined 17 goals and 15 assists.

About the Great Danes

  • UAlbany 5-8-1 on the season and 1-2-1 in conference.
  • The Danes' lone conference win came against UMass Lowell. They won that game 2-0.
  • Ander Castillo and Mamadi Jiana will be the main offensive threats for UAlbany. They both have three goals and Castillo also has two assists.
